The annual showcase for meetings, activities, incentives, conferencing, exhibitions (MICE), events and entertainment sector in Dubai is the Mouth East Special Event & Exhibition Show (MESE). Started in 2010, the show offers the regional event industry a platform to encourage its event managers for goods and services, marketing staff and other staff. Previous events, such as the Festival and the Event360. in the region had recognized a need for an exhibition which covered the whole local event sector.

MESE 2019 discussed a number of subjects, including the recent technology developments, the future of ILEA Middle Orient, how a world-class show can be produced, budget-based mastering activities and how the UAE can develop live entertainment in a variety of ways. There were also speakers in the Dubai World Trade Center, EXPO2020, Futures and ILEA Middle East, from some of the leading businesses and organizations in the area.
